Fun Fun Fun Fest is shaping up this year. We really had no doubt that it wouldn't be an amazing line up seeing that they have repeatedly blown our minds year after year. If you have checked the festivals awesome line up leak page over the last few weeks you have seen they have already reunited DEATH and have GZA and HEALTH playing on the same stage! Pretty amazing right? Today they were kind enough to share a few more leaks with us and we are passing them on to you. Now this is important: We will be posting new line up leaks every day at NOON from now until Tuesday (8/25) so if you want to see who is playing this year before everyone else keep checking back. Last Night: The Golden Filter and VEGA at Beauty Bar

The Golden Filter, Vega, Harlovve and Learning Secrets :: Beauty Bar :: June 10th

Imagine our surprise when we got this news. The Golden Filter, who by the way blew our minds during SXSW, are not only coming back to Austin on June 10th. But that's not all. They will be joined by blog superstar and new local VEGA. Not only that but we also get Harlovve and a Learning Secrets DJ Set??? What we did to deserve this I'll never know but this is definitely one of those holy shit!!! moments.  And it's only 5 dollars!!!!!! It's going to be a super packed night at Beauty Bar on June 10th. Get there extremely early.

Art Show :: Photographs By Veronica Hansen (DJ Set by VEGA) on Thursday, VEGA EP Release at Beauty Bar on Friday

We just happen to be checking out Do512 last night and stumbled upon this Art Show. It features photographs by Veronica Hansen, and music from The Cocker Spaniels and a DJ set from VEGA. It takes place this Thursday, April 23rd from 7-10PM at Cherrywood Coffeehouse (1400 E. 38th 1/2 St.) and will have free food and wine.

Don't forget, as we mentioned on our weekly recommended shows list yesterday, VEGA will also be celebrating his EP release at Beauty Bar this Friday (no cover by the way) with Prince Klassen and Doneski. I really just wanted to mention this again because I wanted to post this sweet poster made by Lydia Reynolds.
