Jay-Z Covers Beastie Boys' "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" at All Points West

The All Points West crowd got a special treat last night. Jay-Z came out and performed a cover of the trio's "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" as a tribute to the Boys not being able to be at the festival because of MCA's cancer diagnosis. He then transitioned into one of his new songs, "Brooklyn We Go Hard". Very classy! (via YANP)

There's still no word on who will be replacing the B-Boys at Austin City Limits. Any ideas?

GRRRR....

Yesterday we through up a link to download the track Brooklyn (We Go Hard) fro Jay-Z and Santogold. Lately though we have been getting posts taken down and legal stuff emailed to us about tracks we put up. Even though most of the stuff we put up is cleared by labels and promo companies and encouraged to be heard.  We don't really understand how they target specific posts but it was a bad ass song so sorry if you didn't get to download it. If you missed out or click here or here. Although we don't encourage that behavior.....
