In a few months time (Sept. 12th) St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) will release her highly anticipated third album entitled
Strange Mercy. Producer/engineer John Congleton (Okkervil River, Wye Oak, Explosions in the Sky) is once again at the helm for the collection of new songs. Artists joining Annie on the album include: gospel organist Bobby Sparks, violinist Daniel Hart, saxophonist Evan Smith, and Midlake's McKenzie Smith on drums. (

“Many of the songs are about wanting relief from pain, and searching high and low for release,” attests Clark.
This fall, St. Vincent will be embarking on a tour (dates down below), and of course she'll be performing here in Austin.
Tickets for the
October 24th show at the Moody Theater at ACL Live will only run $20 and go on sale next Friday (July 22nd) at 10 am.
